August 26, 2010 -- With The Portland Jazz Orchestra at One Longfellow Square, Portland. A forward-looking group of Southern Maine's finest, with a book mainly written for the band.
August 25, 2010 -- With Nick Ludington, guitar, and Jan Van Voorst, drums, at The Local Buzz, 327 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth 7-10. This trio played lots about a decade ago and it will be a joy to play again.
July 25, 2010 -- With The Tom Porter Quintet at The North Star Cafe. Mr. Porter plays piano, joined by Frank Mauceri, saxophone, Mark Barnette, drums and Sam on bass. What a fun band!

July, 2007 -- I am saddened by the passing of luthier Tom Williamson of Brunswick, Maine. Tom was a guitar builder and restorer of the very highest order and a close friend. Tom chose to leave a very light footprint on this world but it's a much sadder place without him.
